Palmdale Gardens is a park located along Mission Blvd in Fremont, featuring large Cypress trees that are believed to have been planted about 200 years ago by the missionaries who founded the Mission San Jose nearby. The historical background of the garden became more widely recognized when Aman Shah, a member of Boy Scout Troop 152, undertook his Eagle Scout project to install five informational signs, each detailing the history of various park landmarks. Fremont Morning Rotary is proud to have provided a community grant to help bring this project to completion.
