Warm Springs Little League and Rotary
Warm Springs Little League (WSLL) is known outside of its area for the best tournament fields, members with the highest respect for all concerned, and a fantastic Fall Ball program and Memorial Tournament.
The WSLL Fall Ball program is a developmental program that teaches ‘skills and respect’ for 24 teams of players ages 8-14 years old, coaches and adult and teen umpires from Fremont and Newark.
Our Rotary Club has been a Little League sponsor for a number of years. Last year our Rotary Club contributed $1,500 towards a scoreboard on the field where the 13-18 yr olds play. WSLL host interleague and tournament games like the Memorial Tournament which is a 3 day tournament in a family BBQ park atmosphere. Governor Loren Harper, our Rotary Club member, threw out the first pitch in the dedication game.
WSLL gives back to the community in participating in special events like the popular 4th of July parade and Tree Lighting.

THEIR GUIDANCE! WSLL provides early age teaching and support of America’s National Pastime – BASEBALL! Their goal has always been to provide first-class baseball instruction no matter what, if any, previous experience a child or parent has had. Yet, while discovering the wonders the game of baseball has to offer, participating players and parents develop leadership, sportsmanship, and physical skills while making new friends on their own and other teams. Separately and collectively, all these are assets that will benefit all participants for the rest of their lives.
THEIR FIELDS! Warm Springs practices and games are played on Fremont’s most pristine baseball fields, conveniently located close to home and adjacent to Warm Springs Elementary School and Warm Springs Community Park.
THEIR POSITIVE APPROACH! WSLL program is educating values of character, courage, and loyalty. In Warm Springs Little League, EVERYONE PLAYS! Girls and boys ages 5-18 play in EVERY PRACTICE AND EVERY GAME, with an emphasis on positive inclusion and support every step of the way. WSLL even offers a Challenger Program, tailored especially for players with special needs.
THE COMMUNITY! WSLL is an all volunteer, non-profit organization; their teams and league are run by Moms and Dads just like you, parents who devote a few hours each week to provide a nurturing, supportive athletic experience for their own children and every child who participates. In fact, considering the amount of hours the volunteers spend in support of the program, WSLL is certainly one of the best youth sports values in all of Fremont.
